Anyone who is reviewing this place and saying the food is great does not have tastebuds or have never been outside their city limits to see how good food is suppose to taste. Someone said they have the best pork chops in town; this is only because it is the only one in town. Ours was overcooked and dry and tasted more like ham. The macaroni that I was told is a crowd favorite was out of a box and not even Kraft but generic. Nothing was good! The only thing the reviews did get right is the friendly staff. Kaylee was very nice.

Wonderful options, best rib eye steak I've eaten in a good while. Great meat loaf, awesome stuffed green pepper, be sure and check out the daily specials. Desserts yum, bananna pudding, German chocolate cake. One night the owner even brought out homemade donuts!
The owner of the Dixie Pan buys his own beef, and takes making good food seriously. His wife makes the pies and cakes, the servers are nice. This diner is a win for me: I travel a lot and have grown way, way weary of the chain joints and prefer something (close to) home cooked. I'm glad work brought me through Nortonville, KY! Stop in, you'll enjoy it.
